Fourteen years of giving waste a better ending
In 2012, a young engineer named Piyush Mittal looked at how India was handling its industrial and hazardous waste — landfills growing taller, groundwater quietly at risk, almost no organised way to recycle what industry threw away — and decided to do something about it. Fourteen-plus years later, that decision has grown into Tozen Toma: an SPCB-approved, multi-stream recycling operation trusted by 180+ MNC clients, recovering 300–400 tonnes of waste every month across India.
